Joyce E. (Stine) Brown, of York, went from life to Life Eternal on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 4:30 AM at Wellspan York Hospital at the age of 79. She was the wife of Glenn A. Brown. She was born in York on July 30, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Floyd Samuel and Romaine Louise (Elicker) Stine. Joyce attended Dover Area High School and obtained her cosmetology degree. She was a homemaker and was a devout member of King James Bible Church. Besides her husband, Joyce leaves her daughters, Sherri L. Strausbaugh and husband, Tom, of Hanover, Brenda D. Brady, of York, Marcia German and husband, Ed, of York as well as her son, Scott S. Seifert and wife, Wendy, of Mount Wolf. She also leaves her grandchildren, Heather A. Brady, of San Fransisco CA, Cindi J. Lewis and husband, Dustin, of Abbottstown and Amanda M. Strausbaugh and fiancé, Ben, of Pittsburgh, as well as her great grandchildren, Landon T.W. Lewis and Adalyn G. Lewis, both of Abbottstown. Joyce leaves her sisters, Carol Reinier and husband, Norm, of Dover, Bonita Lentz and husband, Charles, of Berkley Springs WV, Linda Laughman and husband, Robert, of Dover, and Nancy Saltzgiver, and husband, Mike, of East Berlin. A visitation for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, from 5 to 6 PM. A Service of Honor and Praise will begin at 6 PM. Pastor Glenn A. Brown, Joyce's husband, will be officiating her service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in King James Bible Church Cemetery.
