She was born in Felton on December 4, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Preston E. and Marguerite E. (Klineyoung)Downs. Kay graduated from Red Lion High School, Class of 1955, where she was very active in many sports. She was also an active member of the York American Business Women's Association. She loved going to Florida, meeting friends and playing cards. But the most important thing was to spend quality time with her family. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kay was a longtime member of Bethany United Methodist Church and participated in the Young Christian Adult Sunday School Class.
Besides her loving husband Tom, she leaves her three children, Randy D. Druck, Sr. (Gretchen Eardley) of Bellefonte, PA, Kimberly A. Burdette (Robert) of York and Tamie S.
