Lance Mikiel Massey, age 37, of York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Born in Tacoma, WA, he was the beloved son of Betty and John Trembly and Gary and Michele Massey.

Lance had a creative spirit and enjoyed mixing music, gaming, and expressing himself through his talented artwork and drawings. He had a deep curiosity about faith and spirituality, spending time studying many different religions. Above all, he found comfort and purpose in reading the Bible and strengthening his personal relationship with God and his Lord and Savior Jesus.

In addition to his parents, Lance is lovingly survived by his daughter, Julianna Marie Jankalski; his brother, David Robert Massey; his niece, Aubrey Massey; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Anne Massey; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Archibald and Carol Knight, and his paternal grandmother, Carolyn Ferrante.

Private services for Lance will be held at the convenience of his family.
