Lawrence “Larry” W. Massicot, 84, died on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Rest Haven.

He was the husband of Edith L. (Strait) Massicot, sharing almost 51 years of marriage.

Larry was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on May 9, 1941, son of the late Bernard T. Massicot, Sr., and Ruth V. (White) Massicot.

Larry worked at Black and Decker and Caterpillar, retiring after 30 years of dedicated service. He proudly served in the Army National Guard. Larry was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Freedom, the York Coin Club, the Moose Lodge, and the American Legion. He was also a life member of the ABC Bowling Congress and traveled extensively to compete in tournaments.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Denise R. Gable; Shawn R. Massicot Leagan and her husband, Brian; and Virginia L. Massicot; four grandsons, Jeff Amspacher and his wife, Hope, Christian Massicot, Cameron Leagan and Reilly; two granddaughters, Rachel and Brianna; four great-grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Lillian, and Kailey; his brother, Robert E. Massicot; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Zachary Kirchner, a brother, Bernard T. Massicot, Jr., a nephew, Alan Massicot, and a niece Lynn Massicot.

A viewing will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg, Maryland.
