Linda Lou Fullerton, age 80, of Columbia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Born in York on March 4, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Florence Hattie (Jackson) Beard.

Linda was a loving homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her puzzle books. She will be dearly missed by her children, Sharon A. Stiffler, Rodney P. Nispel, and John Bennett, Jr.; several grandchildren; her brothers, Timothy P. Beard and Keith E. Beard; and her sisters, Dorothy Keener and her husband, David, Marcia M. Ettinger and her husband, Jeff, and Rita K. Brown and her husband, Dale.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Frank C. Nispel; her husband, John Bennett, Sr.; her companion, Robert L. Snyder; and her siblings, Charles M. Beard, Steven C. Beard, Jeffrey A. Beard, Barbara J. Tharp, and Susan M. Beard.
