Linda L. (Gladfelter) Golden, 79, died on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Wellspan York Hospital.

She was the wife of Richard "Dick" A. Golden, Jr., sharing 60 years of marriage.

Linda was born in York on December 12, 1945, daughter of the late Waldo E. and Ferne (Grove) Gladfelter.

Linda graduated from Dallastown High School, Class of 1963. She worked for Stewartstown Sewing Factory, the former A and P Grocery, and Jerry's Food Rite. Linda was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Felton. She enjoyed going to eat with her girlfriends every Tuesday and shopping.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Brian E. Golden; three grandsons, Justin, Tyler, and Braden Golden; and her brother, Robert E. Gladfelter.

Following cremation, a Celebration of Life service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at  Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 134 West Broadway, Red Lion, with her pastor, the Rev. Rebecca McGee officiating. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
