Linda L. (Reno) Hyser, of York, went home to be with the LORD on Thursday, January 20, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at her residence at the age of 78. She was cherished beyond measure and will be missed by her family, friends and all who loved her.
Born in York on October 20, 1943, Linda was the daughter of the late William Jennings and O. Marie (Keesey) Reno. She graduated from Dallastown High School and worked for McCrory Stores, eventually retiring after working as the secretary at her church, St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Dallastown.
Linda leaves her two sons, Mark E. Hyser and wife, Pamela, of Dover and Eric A. Hyser, of York. She also leaves her grandchildren, Steven J. Hyser and wife, Lisa, of East Prospect, Zachary A. Hyser and Tearsa, of Dallastown, Emily E. Hyser, of York, Ryleigh M. Hyser, of York, Shawna M. Warner and husband Jason, of Red Lion, M. Cody Snell and wife Sheri, of York, Brennen M. Shenk, of East Prospect, Austin M. Stevenson, of York, Lillian V. Zech, of East Prospect as well as her great grandchildren, Lyjah Hyser, Keegan Hyser and Carmalyn Hyser. She leaves her siblings, William Reno and wife, Peggy, of York, and Carol Fox and husband, Robert, of York, as well as her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cremation will take place with Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
