Lucion Dale Tome, Sr., of Windsor, entered into rest on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at 10:00 PM at Wellspan York Hospital at the age of 86. He was the husband of the late Clara "Ducky" E. (Dietz) Tome, who entered into rest on February 4, 1994.
Lucion was born in Airville, PA, on March 31, 1933, and was the son of the late Dorothy Mary (Tome) Goheen. He was a truck driver with Preston Trucking Company, retiring after many years of service. He was a member of Canadochly Evangelical and Reformed Church in Delroy and a member of the Hellam VFW, Post # 7045, Chickies Rock American Legion Post #372, in Columbia, PA and the Teamster's Union.
Cremation took place with Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Graveside Service of Honor and Praise for Lucion will be held on Thursday, September 26th, at 2:00 PM at Canadochly Cemetery, with his pastor, Rev. William H. Baral, officiating.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra M. Leiphart of Windsor, and a son, Lucion D. Tome, Jr. and his wife Darlene of York. He was the grandfather to five grandchildren; Amy Bullock of York, Chad Newcomer of Delroy, Carol Emenheiser of Yorkana, Lucion Tome, III of York and Nicole Leiphart of Wrightsville, as well as a great grandfather of nine; Star, Sabastian Amber, Katie Lynn, Makaila, Haiden, Adisyn, Ron, Lucion IV, and Caidense. Lucion was also as great great grandfather to; Ellyanna, Hunter, Adelyn, Maverick, Nova, Zander, Wyatt and Austin.
