Luther W. Tome, of Felton, entered into rest at Wellspan York Hospital on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 6:58 pm at the age of 63. A son of Raymond D. and Shirley R. (Knisley) Tome, Luther was born on January 17, 1959 in York and was a graduate of Red Lion High School and retired as a farmer. Luther enjoyed walking, hunting, reading, animals of all kinds and especially working on his sister's farm. Luther leaves his three sisters, Carol E. Conrad and husband, Dennis, of Felton, Bonnie J. Tome, also of Felton and Wanda S. Eveler and husband, James, of Brogue. He leaves his brother, David E. Tome and wife, Karen, of Brogue along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey L. Tome who entered into rest in 1980 and his sister, Joyce M. Tome in 1964. Cremation will take place with Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
