Marian May Martin Zeigler, age 79, of Hellam Township, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Chester Zeigler Sr. She was born in Dallastown on July 17, 1945, to the late Merle Martin Sr. and the late Clara (Eberly) Martin.

Marian worked at York Hospital in the housekeeping department and later assisted her late husband as co-owner of Zeigler's Trailer Park in Lower Windsor Township.

"Nanny," as she was known to many, enjoyed making crafts for family and friends, especially those she crocheted. She was a member of the Dallastown Pacesetters. She also sang with her sisters in the "Martin Sisters" quartet. She loved to sing, eat, feed others, and spread love all around.

Marian is survived by her sons Michael S. Martin, with whom she resided; Chester Zeigler Jr. of Windsor; and James (Bonnie) Zeigler of Windsor. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Additionally, she leaves behind her brother, Merle Martin Jr.; sisters, Beth Martin Breen and Micaela "Mickey" Martin Eicherly; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Lana Martin; brothers, Gary and Bruce Martin; and sisters, Hazel Martin Gembe and Brenda Martin Bowman Lewis.

A celebration of Marian's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. (viewing from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.) on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, with Pastor Paul Frank officiating. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
