Obituary

Marian S. (Snyder) Pugh, of Delta, died at her home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the age of 55. She was the cherished wife and best friend of Craig A. Pugh, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage, having wed on August 31, 1990.

Born on January 11, 1970, in Baltimore, Maryland, Susie (as everyone called her) was the loving daughter of Melvin Snyder Sr. and Suzanne (Munch) Snyder, of Baltimore. She was a 1988 graduate of Northern High School. Susie devoted herself to her family and home, embracing her role as a homemaker with grace, dedication, and love. Susie had a heart full of passion for life's simple pleasures. She found joy in visiting the beach, with Ocean City, Maryland holding a special place in her heart. These getaways were often spent making cherished memories with her family. More than anything, Susie adored her grandchildren, who were the light of her life and the center of her world. She relished every moment spent with them. Susie enjoyed watching horror movies. Her love for the holidays, especially Christmas, was contagious. She delighted in decorating her home and creating a magical atmosphere that made everyone feel welcome and cherished. Rainy days brought her peace, and she loved falling asleep at night to the "rain" on her sound machine.

Susie is survived by her devoted husband, Craig, and her loving parents, Melvin Sr. and Suzanne. She leaves behind her children: Joshua T. Pugh, of Delta; Emily S. Brown and her husband Brandon, also of Delta; and Rachel M. Harrod and her husband Ethan, of Glen Rock. Susie was the proud grandmother of Scarlett I. Bennett, James A. Bennett, and Bowen H. Harrod, all of Glen Rock. She is also survived by her brother, Melvin L. Snyder, Jr., of Dundalk, and her sister, Tina L. Snyder, of Baltimore.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
