Marie-Andrea Georgette (Lash) Blouse, 64, of Red Lion, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, at University of Maryland Medical Center. She was the devoted wife of Ted A. Blouse, with whom she shared over 31 years of marriage, having wed on September 12, 1993.

Born on January 26, 1961, in Frankfurt, Germany, Andrea was the daughter of the late Louis and Sylviane Lash. As an "army brat," Andrea attended high school in Stuttgart and Heidelberg, Germany. After graduating, she went on to study law at New York State University. She worked as a paralegal for over 40 years at several firms in Colorado and York.

Andrea had a deep love for life and enjoyed swimming, hiking, skiing, and traveling with her family. She was also deeply committed to her community. For more than 20 years, she served as IT Director for the Lehman Center, helping support the Children's Aid Society. In addition to her work with the Lehman Center, she was actively involved in numerous other charitable organizations and never hesitated to help anyone in need.

Andrea was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Dallastown. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by many. Her generous spirit and dedication to others will live on through the charitable actions of those she inspired.

Andrea is survived by her beloved sons, Jared Glenn Blouse and Alexandre Anthony Blouse, both of Red Lion. She also leaves behind her brother, Edward L. Lash, and his wife, Florence Vérité, of Virginia. She was a loving aunt to her nephew, Luke V. Lash, and to her nieces, Isabelle V. Lash and Juliette V. Lash, all of New York.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Contributions in Andrea's memory may also be offered to The Lehman Crisis Nursery, 343 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, PA 17350, in honor of her lifelong dedication to helping children and families in need.
