Mary E. (Dix) Urey, of Red Lion, entered into God's care, after a brief illness, on Saturday, December 22, 20018 at 10:30 pm at her residence with family by her side, at the age of 63. She was the wife of Harry J. Urey to whom she married on January 1, 2005. Mary was born in Baltimore, on August 1, 1955 and was the daughter of the late Worley and Helen (Wilson) Dix. She worked at Giant in the produce department, at both the Red Lion and Shrewsbury stores for 28 years; she enjoyed going to casinos, crabbing and gardening. Mary was a wonderful wife for 13 years to Harry, step mother and grandmother and her family was very important to her. She attended the Friendship Baptist Church in Stewartstown. Viewing will be on Friday, Dec. 28th, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise will begin at 7:00 pm at the funeral home, with Pastor Ken Cademartori, Friendship Baptist Church of the SBC, officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Besides her husband, Harry, she leaves her two step children, Buffy E. Saxman and husband David of Windsor, and Domonick F. Urey and significant other Sophie of Red Lion, along with four grandchildren, Mason, Noah, Emma and Grasyn. She has a brother, William Dix of Stewartstown, a sister, Kathy Kiser of Philadelphia and step sister, Mary McDonald of York, along with several nieces and nephews.
