Mary S. (Ledford) Collett passed peacefully at her home in Red Lion on the morning of June 1, 2024 at the age of 64.
She was born in Baltimore on December 3, 1959 to the late Jack and Frances L. (Pelter) Ledford. After graduating from Carroll Park High School, Mary worked in retail until her retirement. Most recently, she worked at Hollins Market in Baltimore. Mary was known to be the life of the party and always was the center of attention. She loved music, walking, playing scratch off lottery tickets, her son-in-law's cooking, and spending time with her family. Mary enjoyed relaxing with a cold Coors Light, often while sharing good times and laughter with friends and family.
Mary leaves her daughter, Jennifer N. Simpson and husband, Robert, Jr. of Hanover; her two sons, Kyle V. Brown of Oregon and David D. Collett, Jr. and wife, Brittany of East Berlin; her grandchildren, Nevaeh, Josh, Jax, Robby, Anthony, Colton, Regan, Kellen, and Ellie; her brother, Dennis Ledford and wife, Denise of Pasadena, Maryland; her sisters, Maxine Lockler and husband, Gil of Dundalk, Maryland, Doris Kahler and husband, Mike of Baltimore, Maryland, and Denise Childers and husband, Tommy of Virginia. She will be missed by all her nieces, nephews and many friends.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, PA 17356 is assisting the family with arrangements.
