Michael L. Hurtado, of Red Lion, entered into rest on Monday, June 1, 2020, unexpectedly, at 9:29 am at Wellspan York Hospital, at the age of 67. He was the husband of Joan (Gerard) Hurtado. Michael was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 26, 1952. He was the son of Porfiria (Morales) Hurtado of Herndon, VA., and the late Louis Hurtado, and brother of the late Denise Hurtado. He received a bachelor's degree and was employed as a Technical Recruiter. He retired from Northrop Grumman and owned his own recruiting firm called Tekergy. He was raised in the Catholic faith. Michael love to spend time fixing things and especially enjoyed being with his family. Besides his wife, he leaves two step daughters, Laurie M. Townsend and her husband Carl M., Jr. of Windsor and Jami A. Slaiby and her husband Pierre, of Bristow, VA. He was the loving grandfather of Zachari, Jordan, Morgan, Riley and Ryan. He was the loving brother of Diana M. Glod and her husband Chester of Herndon, VA., uncle to Adam Glod and his wife Lauren of Hoboken, NJ and Alexander Glod and his wife Ashleigh of San Diego, CA. Services will be private at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Burial will take place at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY at the convenience of the family.
