Mildred Marie “Millie” (Burk) Frey, age 89, of Glen Rock, formerly of Red Lion, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Chanceford Township on April 9, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Esther M. (Krewson) Burk. She was the loving wife of the late W. James Frey; together they shared many cherished years of marriage until his passing on January 21, 1990.

Millie attended Red Lion High School, Class of 1956. She retired from Red Lion Manufacturing Zero Restriction in 2002. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Local #196 and St. Paul’s Church of Red Lion.

Millie loved her pet dogs that she rescued, solving sudoku puzzles, taking walks, and watching HGTV and the Food Network. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and especially treasured the time she spent with her family. Nothing brought her greater happiness than being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Millie is survived by her son, Barry L. Frey of Red Lion; her daughter, Jackie Ann Frey of Glen Rock; her grandchildren, Sara Frey Joines and her husband, Kevin, Cody Frey and his significant other, Connie Durst, and Travis Frey and his fiancée, Shonnica Addison; her two great-grandchildren, Delilah Millie Elizabeth Frey and Wyatt James Frey; her step-great-granddaughter, Aiyanna; her adopted great-grandson, Rich; and her beloved great-grand dogs, Dusty and Astro. She was preceded in death by her brother, George W. Burk.
