Myles H. Godfrey, Jr., 86, died on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at York South Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

He was the husband of the late Jean L. (Fink) Godfrey.

Myles was born in Felton on October 14, 1939, son of the late Myles H. Godfrey, Sr. and Erma D. (Kohler) Godfrey.

Myles graduated from Dallastown High School and went on to serve honorably in the United States Air Force as a member of the Silent Warriors. He retired from Standard Register as a printer after 40 years of service. Myles cherished time spent with his family and found his greatest happiness in being surrounded by those he loved. He enjoyed riding bikes and embraced the outdoors through hunting and fishing. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Myles also took pleasure in playing cards and going on trips with friends, creating many lasting memories. He was a member of St. Paul’s Church of Christ in Dallastown and the Dallastown American Legion Post 605.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheri Miller and her husband, Steve, of Dallastown; his son, Brian Godfrey and his wife, Debbie, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Lauren Barnes and her husband, Jared, of York, Logan Miller of York, and Amber, Juan, and Misty Godfrey, all of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; six great-grandchildren; and his sister, Ruth Rissinger of California. He was preceded in death by six siblings: Beatrice Loss, Helen Zearfoss, Phyllis Flinchbaugh, Mahlon Godfrey, Lorna Huson, and Samuel Godfrey.

Following cremation, a service will be held at a later date.
