Charlie Brown said, "Someday we will all die, Snoopy." "True, but on all the other days, we will not." Pamela J. (Seitz) Rayburn, of Red Lion, passed peacefully in her home on January 25th at the age of 69, with loved ones by her side. She was a proud aunt "Pammy" of Cara Jo Brooks and Jessica Seitz.
Pam was born in Winterstown on November 9, 1953, and was the daughter of the late W. Kenneth "Kenny" and Geraldine "Gerry" (Rineholt) Seitz. She graduated from Red Lion High School, Class of 1971, and continued her education at Bloomsburg, completing a master's degree in Speech Therapy. Pam worked for 37 years with the Lincoln Intermediate Unit in Spring Grove and Southeastern School Districts until her retirement in 2014. She loved to read, go to the pool and the beach, was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, and enjoyed spending good times with her friends. She traveled all over the world and liked to see movies and shows with friends.
She leaves her two sisters, Geri "Liza" Bull of Naples, Florida and her husband Randy, and Tammy Brooks of York, along with her brother, Kenyon "Pete" Seitz of York. She was also the loving aunt to Stephanie, Meredith, and Jason, and great aunt to Conner, Elyssa, Emersyn, Hunter, and Caileb. She was the former wife of Jim "Bud" Rayburn of York. She leaves her two aunts, Natalie Miller of Red Lion and Donalene Grove of Felton.
Cremation will take place with Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. All services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Pam would like for all her many friends and family to sit back, relax, and have a drink in her honor. Fly, Eagles, Fly!
