Patricia A. (Sullivan) Wise, 67, entered into rest unexpectedly on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 10:04 a.m. at York Hospital. She was the wife of Allen R. Wise, Sr. who entered into rest on June 29, 1998. She was born in Pylesville, Md., on April 22, 1945, the daughter of the late Arthur L. and Dorothy M. (Hopkins) Sullivan. Patricia worked at the former Jamesway Department Store in Red Lion. She attended Red Lion High School, was a member of the Susquehanna Senior Center, enjoyed playing cards, dancing and traveling, and was a member of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church in Airville. She is survived by her Companion, Gary L. Kurtz of Airville; two sons, Allen R. Wise, Jr. of York, Ray E. Wise (Linda) of Red Lion; two brothers, Arthur Sullivan, Jr. (Donna) of York and Edwin W. Sullivan (Clarisa) of Dover; four sisters, Mary E. Boyd (Larry) of York, Margaret "Peg" Rollman (Paul) of Yoe, Barbara A. Rineholt (Gene) of Red Lion, and Ruth M. Rineholt (Ray) of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Derek Wise (Brittany) of Norfolk, Va., and Dylan Wise of Red Lion; and several nieces and nephews. Viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. James B. Shuler, officiating. Burial will be in Bethel UM Cemetery in Brogue. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, 4263 Delta Road, Airville, PA 17302.
