GLEN ROCK Paul E. White, 71, entered into rest at 11:15 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2010, after a brief illness. Paul was born in Bluff City, TN, on April 6, 1939, and was the son of Homer R. and Susie R. (Smith) White. He was a press operator at the former American Insulators in New Freedom. He visited Glenview Alliance Church of York where he recently professed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He loved to go to yard sales, dining out, and fishing at Lake Redman. Surviving are two nieces, Mary R. Sneddon of York and Gloria Ritz of Glen Rock; two great-nieces, Michelle Sneddon and Jessica Casey Sneddon; and one great-nephew, T.J. Ritz., as well as several special friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Sluder and brother, Ernest White. Viewing will be Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, followed by a 7 p.m. service. Pastor Tim Allen, of Glenview Alliance Church, will officiate. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
