Obituary

Raequan Troy Singleton, of York, entered into rest at his home on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the age of 20.

He was born at York Hospital on March 23, 2006, and was a 2025 graduate of Dallastown High School.

Rae enjoyed spending time with his dogs and going for walks through the neighborhood with his caregivers. He loved colorful lights, particularly green, his favorite color, and loved looking at his sunflower garden outside of his window. Rae's smile was well known to those around him and had a way of brightening even the hardest days.

Rae enjoyed traveling and making memories with those who loved him. One of the most meaningful experiences of his life was a Make-A-Wish trip to Walt Disney World. The trip held a special place in his family's heart, as it was during that visit that Rae became verbal for the first time. The experience was so meaningful that they later returned to Disney for a second time. He also took road trips to New York and Georgia and was able to see The Lion King on Broadway. Rae was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. While he may not have communicated with words in the way many do, he touched countless lives through his presence, his spirit, and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him.

Rae's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and caregivers who became like family over the years, not only for the care they provided, but for embracing the adventures, excursions, and experiences that helped make Rae's life so full. Surrounded by the unwavering love and dedication of his family, caregivers, nurses, and friends, Rae experienced a life filled with memorable moments and unconditional love.

He is survived by his mother, Jennifer L. Reisinger and her husband, Jamal J. Dillard of Baltimore; his father, Troy Anthony Singleton of York; and his grandmother, Suzanne C. Bozart of York, who lovingly served as Rae's primary caregiver and devoted herself to his care and well-being throughout his life. He is also survived by his brother, Isaiah A. Singleton of Red Lion; his uncle, Bradley A. Reisinger and wife, Lisa, of York; his niece, Emilianis Singleton of Red Lion; and his cousin, Harper G. Reisinger of York. He leaves his grandfather, Steve A. Reisinger and wife, Cheryl, of Red Lion, as well as a dear friend who was involved in Rae's care for more than 20 years, Jennifer Fimiani of York.
