Ralph W. Poff II, 79, died on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at Wellspan York Hospital. He was the husband of Brenda L. (Fink) Poff, sharing 57 years of marriage.

Ralph was born in York on June 14, 1947, son of the late Ralph W. and O’Dell H. (Hake) Poff.

Ralph was a graduate of York High School and retired after a successful career as an electrical engineer with Buchart Associates. A devoted sports enthusiast, he was an avid Penn State football fan and proudly held season tickets for many years. He also enjoyed following college football and basketball, cheering on the Baltimore Orioles, and spending quiet time reading. When he wasn't watching a game or enjoying a good book, Ralph could often be found working in his yard, taking pride in keeping it well cared for.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Bonita Winey, wife of the late Michael Winey of Mechanicsburg; his nephew, Robert Winey of Mechanicsburg; his niece, Rebekah Ranostay and her husband, Jim of Doylestown, Ohio; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. Although Ralph didn’t have any children, he was a grandpa to three four-legged grandkids, Maggie, Smokey, and Peanut, all who he loved very much.
