Richard “Rick” A. Bowers, 64, of Airville, PA passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at his home.

Rick was born on March 27, 1961, in Muncy Creek Township, PA, a son of the late Burton L. Bowers and Dorothy R. (Smith) Bowers.

He is survived by his daughters; Bambi Bowers, Taysha Burns, Angel Bowers, Yvette Turner, and Rani Goldsborough; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; eight siblings; Patti, Peg, Phyllis, Diane, David, Chuck, John, and Paul; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Michael and Edward; and niece, Kat Kraft.

Rick, a handsome redhead, grew up on farms and stayed a farm boy at heart throughout his life. As a skilled craftsman, he spent most of his life working with his hands as a carpenter and then a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed time with his family, cooking, gardening, woodworking, painting, photography and in his later years, relaxing on his recliner.

Rick’s greatest love in life was his sweetheart of 28 years, his beloved late wife, Cindra R. (Henise) Bowers.

Following cremation, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
