Ronald E. Hemphill, of Brogue, entered into eternal rest, on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at 4:00 am at Yorkview Nursing and Rehabilitation at the age of 83. He was the husband of the late Alma P. (Saylor) Hemphill who entered into rest on September 26, 2014. He was born in Phillipsburg, PA on February 1, 1939 and was the son of the late Raymond and Florence (Beals) Hemphill. Ronald work for M & M Mars Company for more than 22 years, prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and butchering. He leaves his nephew, Ben Klopp and his wife Hope of Red Lion who have cared for Ronald for many years. He has a sister, Donna Zay Fagerty, and other numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Earl Hemphill and a sister, Rebecca Erma Bumbarger. Viewing will be on Monday, February 7th, from 6-8 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Graveside Service of Honor and Praise for Ronald will on Tuesday, February 8th, at 10 am at Pleasant Grove East End Church Cemetery. All attending should meet at the graveside on Tuesday. Pastor Susan Sprenkle will officiate.
