IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald Lee
Wiland
July 18, 1962 – February 2, 2026
On February 2, 2026, Ronald Lee Wiland, 63, passed away at his home.
Ronald was born and raised in Bel Air, Maryland, and later moved to Brogue, Pennsylvania during his high school years. He was the son of the late Raymond Earl Wiland, Sr. and Ethel L. (Wollschlager) Wiland. He graduated from Red Lion Area Senior High School with the Class of 1980.
Ron was someone who took pride in working with both his hands and his problem-solving ability. He was a longtime employee of General Dynamics (formerly Olin) and also spent several years working as a truck driver. Later, he owned and operated Ron Wiland Construction Services, where he focused on what he did best—building, repairing, and creating with precision and dedication.
He was known for his ability to fix nearly anything and for his independent, adventurous nature. Ron enjoyed spending time outdoors, hands-on work, and the freedom he found riding his motorcycle.
Ron also traveled frequently to the Philippines, where he was a proud member of NARIAG. During his time there, he worked to support and assist local families with the goal of improving quality of life.
He is survived by his three daughters: Heather Robinson and her husband Chad of Georgia; Ronay Fregm and her husband Matthew of Red Lion; and Randi Wiland and her fiancé Adam of Airville.
Ron was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren: Charlee, Hailee, Micha, and Emilee Robinson, and Mason, Briar, Cole, and Hazel Fregm—along with several beloved “grand cows.” He is also survived by extended family, including his brother Raymond Wiland Jr. and his wife Fran of Bel Air, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Rayann Wiland and Donna Wiland.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
