Roseann T. (Sanders) Paules, of York, went from her earthly life to eternal life with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at her residence, surrounded by her family, at 1:34 pm at the age of 77. She was the wife of the late Larry L. Paules who entered into rest on October 26, 1996, with whom she shared 27 years of marriage. Roseann leaves behind her special friend, Ed Fernandez of Hershey, PA. She was born in Dallastown on August 13, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Germanus B. and Susanna E. (Hykes) Sanders. Roseann graduated from York Catholic High School, class of 1961 and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and sharing her afghans with friends and family. She was very meticulous with her gardening. Roseann was known for her kindness, generosity and very caring ways which were shown to everyone. But most of all, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who cherished every moment the family shared together. She was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church of Yorkana. Roseann leaves her two daughters, Roxann T. Todaro of York, and Christine M. Dorn of Edisto Island, SC. She was the grandmother to Leann M. Martin of Harrisburg and Eric Shane Lighty of Dallatown and great grandmother of Isaac Martin, Braxton Lighty, Irelynn Lighty and Benjamin Martin. Roseann was one of seven children and leaves her two sisters, Ina Gladfelter of York and Bernadette Miller of Red Lion. She was preceded in death by two children, Mark Louis Urey in 1962 and Susan Alice Urey in 1964, along with her four siblings, Elizabeth Steinfelt, Mary Bookmyer, Mabel Krise and George Sanders. Viewing will be on Thursday, December 10th, from 1-2 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Graveside Service to Honor and Praise Roseann will be at 2 pm at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens .
