Rosetta M. (Snell) Silar, passed from this life to life eternal on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 7:32 am from Promedica Dallastown, at the age of 100. She was the widow of Curtis E. Silar, who entered into rest on March 24, 1996. She was born on September 4, 1922 and was the daughter of the late John E. and Mary (Bell) Snell. Rosetta was a homemaker. She enjoyed working on the family genealogy, gardening, and spending time with her family. Years ago, she was actively involved in the organization involving Lyme Disease. Rosetta was a member of the Windsor Church of God. She leaves her two daughters, Nancy L. Day and her husband Richard A. of Gaithersburg, MD and Joy Ann Conrad and her husband Philip L. of Windsor. Rosetta was the proud grandmother of and Tracy Day of Gaithersburg, MD., Shawn Conrad of Felton, Seth E. Conrad of York, Alyssa Wishard of Red Lion. She also has seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen S. Silar in 1959, and two grandsons, Travis Conrad in 1992, and Dwayne Silar and her eight siblings. Family and friends are invited to share memories during the viewing, from 6-7 pm on Wednesday, January 4th, at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Rosetta will begin at 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience to the family in Salem Community Cemetery in Bittersville. Rev. Dr. Kathy Harvery-Nelson, who is a family member, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to: Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
