Roy Ellsworth Allison, born 1947, was the son of Robert Donald Allison and Mary Virginia Allison, the brother of Kimberly Ann Gibbs, the uncle of Keith Gibbs and his wife, Jenna Taylor Gibbs and Kory Gibbs and his wife, Angie Wimmer Gibbs, the oldest cousin in the Allison Clan, the husband of Beverly Maidment Allison, the father of Brenda Allison Fay and her husband, Jonathan Fay and Robert Mark Allison and his wife, Colleen Dowds Allison, and the grandfather of Andrew Fay, Mark Allison, Geoffrey Fay, and Julianne Allison. Therein lies his pride and joy, second only to his love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Roy pastored the Taylor Bible Tabernacle in Taylor, PA from 1977-1978, assistant and interim pastor of Springville Baptist Church in Springville, PA from 1978-1990, and the senior pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Greensburg, PA from 1990-2010. He loved deeply and all the people who joined us there.

At retirement, Roy and Beverly moved to Felton, PA to be near family. God blessed us with our precious children and grandchildren, so we loved pouring our energies into their lives.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Calvary Bible Church, 125 Calvary Church Road, Wrightsville, with Pastor Joe Fauth officiating.
