Sandra M. (Tome) Leiphart, of York, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at her residence at 7:22PM at the age of 62. She was born in York on June 21, 1957 and was the daughter of the late Lucion D. and Clara E. (Dietz) Tome. Sandra was a seamstress at Perform Group in East Prospect and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a former member of the Yorkana Fire Company. Sandra leaves behind two children, Chad M. Newcomer of York and his girlfriend, Bonnie McFarland and Nicole M.L. Leiphart of York and her boyfriend, Robert Dietz. She was the grandmother of seven grandchildren, Star M.L. Newcomer, Sabastian M. Newcomer, Blain E. Peters, Makaila G. Geesey, Haiden J.J. Geesey, Adissyn P. Dietz and Ian M. Dietz and great grandmother of EllyAnna, Adelyn, Hunter, Oakley, Aniahlee, Maverick and Alazayah, with a great grandchild on the way. Cremation will take place with Burg Funeral home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
