Obituary

WINDSOR Geneva K. (Schmuck) Frey, 80, entered into rest unexpectedly at 6 am Thursday, December 30, 2010 at her residence. She was the wife of Benjamin E. Frey who entered into rest July 27, 1997. Geneva was born in Lower Windsor Twp on January 24, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Harry F. and Lucy Ann (Snell) Schmuck. She worked as a cabinet maker at the former Kapri Kitchens. She was a longtime and faithful member of Windsor Church of God, where she formerly taught Sunday School for the Kindergarten class and was a custodian. Geneva is survived by two sons, Darrell B. Frey and wife Thelma, and Jeffery L. Frey and wife Deborah, all of Windsor; three daughters, Carolyn F. Stump and husband Clyde of East Berlin, and Kathleen M. Spahr and Lori A. Frey both of Windsor; six grandchildren;twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Tuesday, January 4, from 7-9pm at Burg Funeral Home, 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, and Wednesday 9-10am at Windsor Church of God, 1125 Manor Rd, Windsor, 17366. The service will begin at 10 am Wednesday at the church with her pastor, Anthony Zumbo, officiating. Burial will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be offered to Windsor Church of God,1125 Manor Rd, Windsor, PA 17366. Geneva was a wonderful mother who was the last of 12 children in her family to enter into the loving embrace of her heavenly Father. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her cats. Reading and crossword puzzles were her favorite pasttimes.
