Selena S. (Litz) Barrett, of Red Lion, and formerly of Baltimore, entered into rest at Wellspan York Hospital on Friday, January 3, 2025, at the age of 59 after a brief, yet courageous, fight against cancer.

Selena was born on April 20, 1965, in Chester, Pennsylvania, to Ruth (Sellers) Frado of Baltimore and the late Dennis H. Litz. She was previously employed at Time Out for Sports, where she specialized in embroidery. Beyond her professional work, Selena had a passion for helping animals in need. She dedicated her time to transporting foster dogs for Mama's on the Move, a cause close to her heart. Selena found fulfillment in ensuring these dogs were placed in loving, permanent homes, taking great pride in playing a role in their journey to find their forever families. She loved gardening, cooking, had quite the green thumb, enjoyed putting together puzzles, and playing cards as well.

Besides her mother, Selena leaves her twin daughters, Julianna M. Barrett of Red Lion and Savanna M. Barrett of Dover. She leaves her sister, Denise M. Adams and husband, William of Leesburg, Florida, her brother, Kevin P. Litz and wife, Charmaygne of Sarasota, Florida, her niece, Shelby Litz of St. Pete, Florida, her nephew, Kevin P. Litz of East Berlin, and her uncle, Ronnie Litz of Shenandoah, Virginia.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
