Shannon Marie (Hileman) Giannini, 42, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Wellspan York Hospital.
Shannon was born in York on April 13, 1984, daughter of Gregory B. and Marianne (Leber) Hileman of Red Lion.
Shannon graduated from Red Lion Area High School, Class of 2002, and later earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management from Central Penn College in 2014. She built a meaningful career as the Assistant Director of Finance for Bell Socialization Services, where she was deeply committed to supporting the mission of helping others. Shannon was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, a devoted reader, and a passionate advocate for nonprofit organizations, strongly believing in their value and impact within the community. She also served as a member of the advisory board for Bridges for Brianna, further reflecting her dedication to service. Her courage, selflessness, and strength were evident in every area of her life. Above all, Shannon cherished being a mother—her most important and beloved role in life.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Rocco Elwood Giannini; daughter, Addison Leigh Giannini; sister, Katy Hileman; two nieces, Brooke Renee Braham and Makayla LynMarie Braham; her beloved pets, Axel and Cookie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Elwood Hileman, Karen J. (Klepper) Hileman, and Lois V. Leber Brashears.
Following cremation, a visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Chaplain Angel Perez officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bell Socialization Services, 160 S. George Street, York, PA 17401.
