Shawna Darnee Weil accepted the hand of our Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 6:44 pm, surrounded by her loving family at her home at the age of 35. She was born in Cheverly, MD on August 19, 1986 and is the daughter of Gary E. and Lorraine R. (St. John) Weil of Stewartstown. Besides her parents, Shawna has four siblings, Keila G. McIntosh, of Arnold, MD, Angelique C. Manning, of New Freedom, Marci Renoll and her husband, Christopher, of Etters, and Gary E. Weil, II and his companion, Melanie Stump, of Wrightsville. Shawna had eight nieces and nephews, Michael Cuviello, Jakob McIntosh, Cora Renoll, Emma Renoll, Rylee Weil, Kinslee Weil, Mason Weil and Owen Woolfrey, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A Service to Honor and Praise Shawna's life will begin at 5 pm on Saturday, January 15th at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Viewing will begin at 1 pm and go to the start of the service at the funeral home. Rev. David D. Tietje, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ in Red Lion will officiate. Burial will be private and at the convenience to the family.
