WINDSOR Shirley M. "Shirk" (Grove) Grove, 74, entered into rest after a brief illness at 3 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Dallastown Nursing Center. She was the wife of Glenn M. Grove, who entered into rest November 3, 1998. She was born in Red Lion, on November 18, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Almeda (Fregm) Grove. Mrs. Grove was a homemaker. Surviving are one daughter, Heidi J. Keller of Windsor and husband, Kent, with whom Shirley lived; two grandchildren, Dalton and Cameron Keller, both of Windsor; two sisters, Faye Robinson of Red Lion and Esther Robinson of Hustontown; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ken Grove and Donald Grove; and one sister, Erma "Sal" Arnold. There will be no viewing. Family and friends are invited to a visitation to extend their condolences on Wednesday, March 2, from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Deacon Neil A. Crispo officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove (East End) Cemetery. Shirley, also known as Shirk, was a wonderful mother and grandmother who doted over her grandchildren and loved spending time with her family. She was a great cook and enjoyed gardening immensely.
