Obituary

Stanley "Stan" W. Hynoski, Jr. of Red Lion, entered into rest on Friday, January 29, 2021, at his residence at 8:00 pm at the age of 79. He was the husband of Harriet (Vincenzes) Hynoski of Red Lion, who he married on October 13, 1962, celebrating 58 years together. Stan was born in Mt. Carmel, PA on March 27, 1941 and was the son of the late Stanley W., Sr. and Pearl (Dombroski) Hynoski. He graduated from Mt. Carmel Catholic High School, Class of 1958. He was a Senior Maintenance Technician at M&M Mars, Inc. in Elizabethtown where he worked from 1973 to 2000 when he retired. Prior to that he was employed at the House of Windsor Cigar Factory. Stan was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the VFW Post #1446 in Red Lion. He was a lifetime member and member of the Board of Directors at Windsor Fish and Game Association, Knights of Columbus, the Anthracite Fire Company of Mt. Carmel PA and was an avid hunter. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was our rock – forever in our hearts. Besides his wife, Harriet, he leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Denise M. Mauzy and her husband Gary W. of York and Natalie Hynoski and her husband Roy Magac of York and a son, Steven W. Hynoski of Red Lion. He was the loving grandfather to: Tyler L. Miller, Ashley E. Miller, Allie R. Hynoski, Sophia M. Hynoski and Katie A. Magac and two step grandchildren; Dustin and Chandler Mauzy. Stan has a sister, Gloria M. Howard of Mt. Carmel and his loving grand dog, Troy. He was preceded in death by a step grandson, Cody W. Mauzy. Cremation will take place with Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Graveside services and burial for Stan will be scheduled in the Spring and will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with full military rites being presented, the time and date to be announced.
