Stephanie Lynn
Meloni
January 31, 1969 – April 2, 2026
Stephanie Lynn (Miller) Meloni, of Red Lion, entered into rest at her home on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the age of 57. She was the loving wife of Jeffrey A. Meloni, whom she married in May of 2018.
Born in York on January 31, 1969, Stephanie was the daughter of the late Robert Truman and Barbara (Wells) Miller and a graduate of Central High School. She spent part of her career working at the York County Courthouse before transitioning into home healthcare. Most recently, she worked at Baja Beach Tanning Salon, a place that reflected her vibrant personality. Stephanie loved the beach and cherished time spent by the ocean. One of her happiest memories, as recalled by her husband Jeff, was their Royal Caribbean Cruise. Music was another constant joy in her life. Above all, Stephanie’s greatest love was her family. She treasured every moment spent with them and held those relationships close to her heart. She lived life on her own terms, with a free-spirited nature and an undeniable zest for living. Stephanie had a magnetic personality and was the kind of person people were naturally drawn to, whether they knew her or had just met her. Her kindness, generosity, and willingness to give to others without hesitation defined who she was. She had an enormous heart, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her husband, Stephanie is survived by her son, Tyler J. Ruth and his wife, Creelyn, of Red Lion; and her daughter, Ashley N. Murray and her husband, Zach, of Norfolk, Virginia. She is also survived by her stepsons, Jared M. Meloni of York, Joshua T. Meloni of Lancaster, and Jacob A. Meloni of Lancaster. She leaves behind several beloved grandchildren. Stephanie is further survived by her brother, Robert A. Miller and his wife, Lori, of Windsor, and her lifelong friend, Julie Barley-Cutler of York Haven. She will also be dearly missed by her dog, Sheila, and her cat, Savannah. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her dear friend, Jill Snyder.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Donations can be submitted through the funeral home’s website by selecting the “Make a Payment” option in the upper left-hand corner, choosing the “Loved One” tab, and entering Stephanie’s name.
