Steven Allen Shirey, age 59, of New Freedom, PA was reunited with his entire immediate family, that he loved and missed so very much, into the gates of heaven on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 6:50p CST. Steven was preceded in death by both parents, Arthur E. Shirey, Jr. and Jane F. (Harris) Shirey both of New Freedom, PA. Also, preceded in death by his loving brother, Chris D. Shirey; and, two sisters, Debra J. (Shirey) Edwards and Gail E. Shirey. Stevie is the husband of Thomas P. Corritore, of whom he shared the past 37 years of love, life, success and companionship. Stevie and Thomas worked hand-in-hand to build a real estate empire and homes that will continue to generate interest in the country music world for years to come. Stevie was so very proud of every single thing he touched; and, because of his natural eye for colors, trends and design he was a natural born leader when it came to set designs for multiple country music stars. Besides his husband, Tom, Stevie leaves behind his nephew Clint Walker of Manchester, MD and his two children, Cole & Caleb. Stevie also leaves behind his niece, Crystal Walker of Nashville, TN and her two children, Walker & Tippi. He lived a full life and loved all of us, most importantly he loved his "Grandbabies" and his four dogs named, Bambi, Paulie, Dino & Patsy aka Sissy Girl. A viewing for Steven will take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 6p-8p at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, PA. A Graveside Service of Honor and Praise will be on Wednesday, October 27 at 11 AM at St. John's the Baptist Church Cemetery in New Freedom, PA with Father Mark T. Wilke officiating. Those who wish to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery entrance at 10:45 AM. Stevie loved the look and scent of flowers so please have all arrangements sent for The Tuesday Service.
