Todd E. DiMercurio, leader of Team DiMercurio and resident of Red Lion, entered into rest at John's Hopkins Medical Center on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the age of 47 after a courageous fight against Pancreatic cancer. He was the husband of Jennifer J. (Blizzard) DiMercurio to whom he married on October 25, 2003.
Born in Warren, Michigan on November 5, 1976 to Marie A. (Rachubka) DiMercurio and the late John F. DiMercurio, Todd graduated from Utica High School and was a welder by trade. He most recently was employed with BAE and was working towards a degree in Food Service Management. Todd was a wonderful cook and enjoyed his part time position with JDK Catering. He was a theater enthusiast, loved the Baltimore Ravens, Orioles, and was a Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Red Wings fan as well. Spending time outside camping and going to the cabin at Pinchot State Park with his family were times he cherished. Todd recently ran the Army 10 miler in October and was determined to live every day to its fullest.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves his two children, Sofia G. DiMercurio and Liam E. DiMercurio, both of Red Lion, his brothers, John F. DiMercurio II, of Kenockee Township, Michigan and Eric P. DiMercurio and wife, Kim of Washington, Michigan, seven nephews, three nieces as well as his three aunts and three uncles.
A viewing for Todd will take place on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday with Evangelist Angela Williams, MDIVPC of Bethel A.M.E. Church officiating. Burial will follow in Red Lion Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Todd's memory be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
