Vickie L. (Waltemeyer) Kline, of Red Lion, peacefully entered into rest at Wellspan York Hospital on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the age of 70. She was the devoted wife of Barry L. Kline, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage, having wed on April 30, 1982.

Born in York, Vickie was the daughter of Ida (Cordrey) Michael of Dallastown and the late Charles Waltemeyer. She was the stepdaughter of the late Ken Michael. Vickie lived a life marked by service, dedication, and compassion. Over the years, she held a variety of roles, from providing childcare to working as a cashier, most recently at Barry's Country Food Market. Her commitment to her community was evident through her many years of service with the New Bridgeville Memorial Fire Company, where she proudly held nearly every position. She was also an active member of the Fire Fighters Association of York County.

In addition to her husband and mother, Vickie is survived by her children: sons Charles E. Flaharty and his wife Heather, Scott E. Flaharty and his companion Vicki, and daughter Bobbi Jo Kline. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Noah A. Flaharty and his partner Brie, Caleb E. Flaharty, Laurel J. Flaharty and her fiancé Thomas, and Emma J. Flaharty. Vickie is also survived by her siblings: Barbara Copper (Jim), Wanda Gerber (Gary), Brenda Wolf (Greg), and Hope Waltemeyer, as well as 11 beloved nieces and nephews, all of whom will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Waltemeyer.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am with Pastor John Waltermyer officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
