Virginia Mae (Paules) Graham, of York, entered into God's care on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Amarosa Wellness Nursing Home at 5:33 pm at the age of 100. She was the wife of the late William D. Graham who entered into rest in 1949.
She was born in Lower Windsor Township, on August 3, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Oliver and Cora (Leber) Paules. She attended the Wills One Room School in Delroy. Virginia worked for various cigar factories and later years, she was a housekeeper for several families, working up until she was 90 years old. She was a lifetime member of the Canadochly Evangelical and Reformed Church in Delroy, where she was active, serving her church and her Lord, in many different ways over the years. She loved to work in her yard and do gardening.
Virginia was one of six children, and all have preceded her in death, Clarence, Jacob, Mildred, Richard, and Henry. She does have five generations of nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
Viewing will be on Saturday, February 18th from 10-11 am at Canadochly Evangelical Reformed Church, 4845 East Prospect Road, York. A Service of Honor and Praise for Virginia will begin at 11 am at the church with her pastor, Rev. William H. Barral, officiating. Burial will be at Canadochly Cemetery.
