Wayne L. Stump, of Dallastown, passed from his earthly life on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at the age of 86. He was the husband of the late Janet Elaine (Altland) Stump who entered into rest on October 13, 1966. Wayne was born in York on November 11, 1933 and was the son of the late Charles and Charlotte (Sprenkle) Stump. He was a graduate of Red Lion High School, class of 1953. Wayne was employed by Caterpillar where he worked for 29 ½ years prior to his retirement. He leaves behind his two sons, Thomas Stump, of Etters, and Mark Stump, of Lewisberry, as well as two grandchildren, Jonathan Stump and Janelle Edris. He also leaves behind his sister, Mickey Roy, of Red Lion, and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two siblings. Cremation will take place with Burg Funeral home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
