Yourtha "Yogi" M. (Baker) Delp, of Felton, entered into rest on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 4:30 PM at Colonial Manor Nursing Home at the age of 70. She was the wife of James W. Delp to whom she married on October 3, 1994, sharing 27 years of marriage together. Yogi was born in Baltimore on April 20, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Irvin Jerent and Joyce Lee (Russell) Baker. She attended schools in Maryland and then took courses at the General Motor University of Auto Management. Yogi worked for the former Greer/Sammis Chevrolet in Rinely as a service manager, and most recently worked for York Lincoln Mercury where she retired from after 10 years of service as the Assistant Service Manager. Yogi loved flowers of all types, especially roses, and taking pictures. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Donna McDonough, of Somerset, NJ, a son, Robert I. Anderson, and four grandchildren, John, Jillian, Lynsey and Faith. She leaves behind her two sisters, Pam Schuk, and husband, Mike, of Baltimore, and Brenda Naff and husband, Bill, of Felton, as well as her brother, Keith Baker and wife, Judy, of Brogue, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles and Steven Baker. Cremation will take place with Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Graveside Service of Honor and Praise for Yogi will take place on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Trinity Cemetery in Felton with Rev. David D. Tietje, of St. John's United Church of Christ in Red Lion, officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are kindly asked to meet at the cemetery located at the corner of Felton Road and Trinity Road.
