Fay V. (Smith) Warner, formerly of Felton, entered into God's eternal care, with family by her side, on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 9:25 pm at Manor Care Dallastown at the age of 100. She was the wife of the late Z. Woodrow Warner who entered into rest on April 4, 1998. Fay was born in Red Lion on November 17, 1917 and was the daughter of the late Curvin E. and Mayme (Shenk) Smith. She graduated from Red Lion High School, class of 1935. She worked for forty plus years at the former Red Lion Sewing Factory prior to her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting and baking and spending time with her family. She was a long time and very active member for more than 80 years at the Felton Bethany United Methodist Church where she also taught Sunday School. She is survived by her sister, Patricia A. (Smith) Villarreal of Cypress, TX, along with numerous nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Audrey V. Triplett and Elaine E. Wagman and a brother, Donald C. Smith. Visitation will be on Friday, from 9-10 am at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Fay will begin at 10 am at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy A. Funk, pastor of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Red Lion, officiating. Burial will be at Zion UM Cemetery on the Felton Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to: Felton Bethany UM Church, 49 High Street, Felton, PA 17322. Don't cry for me now I have died, for I'm still here I'm by your side. My body's gone but my soul is here, so please don't shed another tear.
