Kenneth Elmer Gemmill

Kenneth Elmer Gemmill, of Dover, entered into rest at UPMC Memorial on Monday, August 28, 2023 at the age of 71.

He was born in York on September 20, 1951 and was the son of the late Robert Samuel and Margaret Ethel (Boyer) Gemmill. Ken proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot where he worked in Boiler Operations. He enjoyed helping people around their homes, doing small repairs and housework, going to the movies with his son to see the latest Marvel feature and cooking. Ken loved to tinker with things to keep himself busy and while he liked socializing, he preferred the comforts of home.

Ken leaves his son, Kenneth B. Gemmill and wife, Jenna of Mountville and his only grandchild, Callum.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting the family with arrangements.
