Lorraine H. (Richardson) Glatfelter, formerly of Red Lion, died peacefully on Thursday morning, September 14, 2023 at Dallastown Nursing Center at the age of 94. She was married to Walter L. Glatfelter who passed away on January 14, 2006.
Lorraine was born in Norrisville, MD on July 25, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Henry and Elsie (McComas) Richardson. She graduated from Red Lion High School class of 1947. She was employed at the former Warners Dairyland, now Lion’s Pride, as a cashier and a teller at the former Lost Dauphin Deposit, now M&T Bank, for 28 years, retiring in 1994.
Surviving her is son, Gary L. Glatfelter and wife Cynthia A. Barnett of De Pere, WI, her grandchildren, Leigh A. Deprez and husband Lucas of Green Bay, WI, Andrea L. Avery and husband Ry of Nolensville, TN and Jonathan W. Glatfelter of Minneapolis, MN; four great-grandchildren, Elaina H. Deprez, Stella K. Deprez, Asher C. Avery and Aletta L. Avery.
The service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. is assisting the family with arrangements.
