Patricia A. (Trageser) Smith, of Dallastown, entered into rest at Inner’s Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the age of 76.
Patricia was born in Parkville, Maryland on September 12, 1947 to the late Joseph M. and Sarah F. (Buchheit) Trageser. She was a graduate of Parkville High School, class of 1965 and worked at several different retail stores in customer service, most recently at Walmart where she took pride in her work, retiring after several years of service. She had a love for bingo and card games, particularly 500 rummy. Her free time was spent watching soap operas and going on shopping adventures. Her bond with her daughter’s was unbreakable and she found true happiness in their company. A passionate animal lover, Patricia’s heart extended to her pets throughout her lifetime. She recently enjoyed a visit from her cat at the nursing home. She had an appreciation for seafood, particularly crab cakes and loved crab soup as well, which was one of her last meals she requested while at Inner’s Creek. Her favorite indulgence was a Kaluah and cream.
Patricia was a loving and caring mother who will be deeply missed by her daughters, Sandra L. Behlert and husband, Troy of Red Lion and Terri L. Monaldi and husband, Frank, Jr., of Manchester, Maryland. She also leaves her grandchildren, Kelsie L. Monaldi and Frank J. Monaldi III, both of Manchester, Maryland, Sarah M. Salefsky of Red Lion and her cat, Bailey, whom she adored.
A graveside service for Patricia will take place at a later date at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting the family with arrangements.
