Ralph McCallum Hopkins, 71, of Red Lion, entered into the presence of the Lord on December 21, 2023. Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his saints.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathy Ray, and his daughters, Luci, Stephanie (Matthew), his son, Daniel (Jessica), his mother Lois, and beloved grandchildren, Cameron, Melody, Ezra and Zion. He was predeceased by his daughter, Stacy, and his father, Joseph.
Ralph graduated from the Stony Brook School in Long Island, NY and received his B.A. in Theology from Emmanuel Baptist University. Ralph was awarded his Master's of Divinity at Great Plains Baptist. He served as a pastor and was very active in local food and nursing home ministries. Ralph retired from MarquipWardUnited in Hunt Valley as a fine tolerance machinist. He was known for his caring, well written letters and postcards. Ralph enjoyed classical music, hiking in the great outdoors and sailing with family and friends.
A time to visit with Ralph’s family will take place on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 10:00 am at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 am with several members of his family officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
